Scrubwise (scrubwise.app) is operated by Fiveable, Inc. (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site or join a waitlist, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- When you join a waitlist: your email address, the exam you picked, and, if you choose to tell us, when your test is and what you use to study now.
- How you found us: the ad campaign or website that sent you, from the link you followed (UTM tags and the referring site), and the page you landed on.
- Pass buttons: if you click a priced pass button, we record which pass and price you saw. Passes aren’t on sale yet, and we never ask for payment details.
- Usage analytics: we use PostHog to count page views and clicks. PostHog sets a cookie or local storage entry with a random ID so we can tell repeat visits apart. It records your approximate location from your IP address, your browser and your device type.
How we use it
- To email you once when the exam you picked opens on Scrubwise, plus a confirmation email when you join.
- To decide which exams and features to build first.
- To measure which ads and pages bring people to the site.
We don’t sell your information. Scrubwise signups are kept separate from Fiveable’s user accounts, and we don’t add you to Fiveable’s marketing.
Who processes it
- Supabase stores the waitlist.
- Resend sends our emails.
- PostHog runs our analytics.
- Vercel hosts the site.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your waitlist entry, or stop emailing you, at any time by writing to hello@scrubwise.app or replying to any email we send. TODO: add state privacy rights language (for example, California) and how long waitlist data is kept, after legal review.
Children
Scrubwise is meant for adults preparing for health career exams. It isn’t directed to children under 13.
